 Shlavens, a.k.a., Mike Laven, comprises the other half of the Shlavens and D-Lav production duo. Shlavens is a highly trained percussionist, audio engineer, and composer, studying all three subjects at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. While D-Lav is a veteran DJ, Shlavens is relatively new to the DJ scene, usually spending most of his time in the studio. Shlavens and D-Lav have recently become residents of Rage in Worcester, MA.
